In a first, Vande Mataram sung at Red Fort

For the first time, Vande Mataram was rendered from the ramparts of the Red Fort during the Independence Day celebrations on Saturday as the country marked 150 years of the national song.The ceremony also saw 2,500 NCC cadets and MY Bharat volunteers form the words “Vande Mataram” at the venue.
