After dominating the box office, the film is now gearing up to take over the OTT space as it is set to become available for digital purchase and rental on October 6, more than two months after its theatrical release.Amid buzz and speculation about the film’s release, Sony Pictures confirmed that the film will be available through major digital retailers ahead of its digital release. The film will be available for rentals on Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango and Sony Pictures Core.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ set for OTT release
The latest instalment in the Spider-Man franchise will be released as a premium video-on-demand (PVOD) title at 12 am ET on October 6.For viewers in the US, the film will be available to buy for USD 29.99 or rent for USD 24.99 through Prime Video and Apple TV. A membership is not required to purchase or rent the film through Prime Video.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Blu-ray and 4K release
For fans who prefer a physical copy of the film, will be able to pre-order it on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray. However, they will only be able to get their hands on the copy when it releases on December 15, 2026. The film will include a digital code, allowing buyers to access a digital copy of the film on supported devices. A limited collector’s edition is also available to pre-order.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ to stream on Netflix?
There is currently no official Netflix release date for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’. However, the film is expected to eventually become available on Netflix in the US as part of Sony Pictures’ existing pay-TV streaming arrangement with the platform. The deal includes Sony’s theatrical releases and specifically covers films based on Marvel characters, including the Spider-Man franchise.They also have a broader global agreement under which Netflix is set to become the first subscription streaming home for Sony Pictures films in individual territories as the relevant rights become available.
