October 2026 astrology: 5 Astrology and vastu tips to attract balance, clarity and positive energy
October 2026 is not necessarily a month to keep adding more.It may actually be a better month to look at what has already accumulated. Money spent without thinking. Things lying unused around the house. Hundreds of screenshots on the phone. A work desk where yesterday’s papers are still competing with today’s priorities.Even our morning routine can become something we move through without consciously resetting ourselves. With October carrying a larger theme of review and reassessment, I would keep the remedies equally practical. You don’t need to change your entire house or follow twenty complicated rituals.Start with these five things.
Keep your wallet free from old bills and receipts
Open your wallet today. You may find restaurant bills from three weeks ago, expired cards, old parking slips, random visiting cards and receipts you no longer remember keeping.Clear them. From a Vastu perspective, I prefer keeping the place associated with money clean and organised. But there is a practical financial lesson here too. While cleaning your wallet, look at what you have actually been spending on.Sometimes an old receipt tells you more about your money habits than a monthly budget does. Keep the cards and documents you genuinely need and remove the rest. Your wallet should carry your money, not your history.
Review luxury spending before buying more
October is a particularly good month to distinguish between wanting something and wanting the feeling that comes with buying it.Before purchasing another watch, handbag, perfume, jewellery piece, gadget or expensive décor item, give yourself some time.Ask:Do I genuinely need this?Do I already own something similar?Would I still want it after 48 hours? There is nothing wrong with luxury. The problem begins when shopping becomes the quickest response to stress, boredom or the need for validation. This month, enjoy beautiful things. Just don’t let every beautiful thing become yours.
Keep the south-west of your home stable and clutter-free
Take a proper look at the South-West portion of your home.Has it slowly become the place where cartons, broken furniture, old luggage and things with no permanent location are dumped? In Vastu, I prefer keeping the South-West comparatively stable, organised and grounded. You don’t necessarily need to place another remedy there.First remove what should not be there. Clean the area. Repair broken furniture. Organise what genuinely needs to remain.Sometimes the first Vastu remedy is not adding an object. It is removing five unnecessary ones.
Declutter your phone and work desk
We understand physical clutter very easily. Digital clutter is less visible.Start with your phone. Delete duplicate photographs, unnecessary screenshots, unused apps and downloads you haven’t opened in months. Organise important documents and back up what actually matters. Then move to your work desk. Remove dead pens, old coffee cups, tangled wires, outdated papers and things that have nothing to do with the work currently in front of you.Don’t aim for an Instagram-perfect desk or an empty phone. The purpose is much simpler. When you need something, you should be able to find it without moving through fifty things you don’t need.
Add lemongrass aroma to your bathing routine
Make your morning bath a small reset ritual this month. If lemongrass suits you, use a properly diluted lemongrass essential-oil preparation appropriate for bathing rather than adding concentrated essential oil directly to the skin or water. As you bathe, consciously use those few minutes to mentally separate yourself from yesterday’s irritation, unfinished conversations and emotional baggage.Don’t check your phone immediately before entering the shower and continue the same argument in your head while bathing.Let the bath mark a transition: Yesterday is over. Today gets a fresh start.
