NEW DELHI: A four-storey building was vacated in Delhi’s Shahdara after a sudden tilt on Sunday, triggering panic among the nearby residents.Located in Shahdara’s Gandhi Nagar area, the building was immediately evacuated as a precautionary measure, with the police cordoning off the area and preventing people from approaching the structure to ensure their safety, officials said.An MCD team also reached the spot and inspected the condition of the building. PTI reported.According to officials, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has directed the owner to demolish the structure voluntarily, failing which the civic body would initiate necessary action under the applicable provisions.
