The Princess of Wales recently took to her social media account to share an amazing feat. She revealed that she recently completed a mountain climbing challenge, all thanks to her children’s and family’s support. Along with the news, Middleton also shared snapshots of the family together on the rare outing, including all three of her children.
Kate Middleton shares rare family photos
On July 5, Sunday, the royal shared a series of photos on her Instagram account commemorating her achievement of completing the National Three Peaks Challenge late last month in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. She shared glimpses of rare family photos of her husband, Prince William, and their three children: Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (11), and Prince Louis (8).In one photo, Kate was seen hugging Prince William after completing her trek. This was followed by photos of her holding hands with Louis, and the next one showed a sweet glimpse of Kate and Charlotte hugging one another tightly. The last photo in the post showed the royal family of 5 posing alongside Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and her brother, James Middleton.She posted the photos on her account along with the caption: “This time last week, completing the National Three Peaks Challenge. A huge thank you to everybody who has supported The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. To find out more or donate, please visit link in bio.” The challenge Kate completed required her to climb the highest summits in Scotland, England and Wales: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
About Kate Middleton’s own journey with cancer
The royal has faced cancer herself, which is why the organization and the cause are so close to her heart. On March 22, 2024, the Princess of Wales shared a personal video message with the world on her account, revealing that she had been diagnosed with cancer. She shared that the disease came to light after doctors performed a major abdominal surgery in January earlier that year. She also confirmed that she was already receiving preventive chemotherapy treatment to get better.Later that same year, Middleton revealed that she was cancer-free, and confirmed in January 2025, that she has officially gone into remission.
